The Atlantis microplate washer is renowned for its excellent price/performance ratio. Equipped with features usually only available as optional extras, the Atlantis is the ultimate choice for discerning laboratories. Operation is simple, with the two line alphanumeric display and 5 soft keys for easy programming; the Atlantis allows up to 50 wash programmes and 20 plate types to be permanently stored. In addition, the plate carrier is detachable for cleaning and the quick changing of manifolds simplifi es the use for different plate types The unique manifold position sensor allows a precise height adjustment which minimises residual volumes. Digitally controlled aspiration and dispensing pumps provide high accuracy and low noise levels.

FEATURES

Top loading Provides easy handling and facilitates robotics operation. For convenience the plate remains visible during the washing process.

Low noise pumps The use of an aspiration pump ensures quiet operation (no noisy vacuum pumps). Pressure free dispensing system allows fl exibility in bottle size.

Flexible wash options 20 wash cycles, bottom and overfl ow washing, shaking and crosswise aspiration can be used in up to 50 wash programs. In addition, up to 20 plate types can be defi ned making the Atlantis one of the most fl exible microplate washers available today.

Manifold Position Sensor Precise positioning to minimise residual volumes as well as detection of incorrectly inserted strips or plates.

Automatic rinsing Automatic, periodic rinsing prevents clogging of the liquid path.

Optional liquid level sensors Avoids wash bottles becoming empty or the overfl ow of waste bottles.
